The quieter shelves: secondary Marvel NFT comics in 2023

2023 did not feel like a convention floor. It felt like a back-issue box that you only opened on Sundays.

When new Marvel-themed NFT comics arrived less often, secondary listings became the whole conversation. Collectors compared a six-month-old issue with whatever cover treatment had just appeared, even if the new piece was unrelated. Asking prices were described with more caveats and fewer exclamation marks.

Our secondary-market journals from that year are full of “still listed” and “wording unchanged.” That dullness is historically interesting. It shows a market that had to live without weekly spectacle. UK readers also spent more time converting crypto-quoted asks into pounds so a household ledger made sense.

If you only saved 2021 screenshots, 2023 will look like another country. That is why a dated journal still earns its keep.
